About Our Pilates-Barre-Core Classes

Pilates-Barre-Core classes are energizing and challenging workouts. These low, medium, and high-intensity exercise classes are specifically designed to work all major muscles in the body.

 

Skill level: Basic, Intermediate, & Advanced Classes Available

Class Preparation

  • New to class? Arrive a little early so your instructor can give you some pointers.
  • Alert your instructor of any injuries so they can provide modification options.
  • Maintain good upright posture during all exercises.

Everyone wants more defined abs! But more than just looks, strong abs help contribute to better core strength which benefits your balance and overall fitness level. 

Medium Intensity
Basic Skill

An energizing non-impact class that is designed to strengthen, tone and balance the entire body utilizing the ballet barre, light weights, bands and small balls. Barre class includes toning and muscle endurance exercises with an emphasis on the core, arms, glutes and thighs. 

Medium Intensity
Intermediate Skill

To build a strong core you need to exercise a variety of muscles, from your hips to your shoulders and when these muscles contract, they stabilize the spine, pelvis, and shoulder girdle to create a solid base of support for powerful movements. A strong, fit core helps improves your performance in all activities of sport and in life.

Medium Intensity
Basic Skill

Through a series of body-weight exercises, Foundation Training anchors the hips, decompresses the spine, and teaches you to take the pressure off of your joints and put it where it belongs; in your muscles. No matter your age or your fitness level, Foundation Training puts you on the path to wellness.

Low Intensity
Basic Skill

An effective non-impact class that is designed to strengthen the core and create a balanced body. Pilates classes utilizes a variety of positions and/or equipment. A strong core is essential to overall strength and balance!

Medium Intensity

Upbeat Barre® is a muscular endurance based workout that fuses strength training, ballet, yoga and Pilates with popular music to create a sweaty, fun and balanced workout with varying levels of intensity designed to include everyone.
