At the Y, we believe that children learn best through play. That’s why our half-day preschool programs are the place for kids ages 1 through 6 to experience the magic of childhood.

We understand the importance of learning that takes place in the earliest years of life and take pride in helping prepare children for kindergarten. Our early childhood educators create a safe and inviting space where kids can play and learn with teachers and peers. Our programs are developed around five areas of focus to help kids meet important developmental milestones:

Social and emotional development
Language development and communication
Approaches to play and learning
Early literacy and math skills
Health and physical development
