Building on the success of Summer of Opportunity, LEVEL UP is an outreach program that offers youth ages 13-18 free access to neighborhood Ys on weekend nights all year long. The program aims to give youth positive outlets for their time and energy, prevent crime, promote health and reduce academic regression.

Programs and activities include a host of speakers and interactive workshops, creative arts, open gym, sports and fitness, swimming and a meal. These goals also align with recommendations of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Opportunity Task Force and address the need for early interventions in life to create access and opportunities and increase economic mobility.  Learn more about Level Up
