The YMCA of Greater Charlotte employs over 4,000 full and part time team members across our 19 locations and two overnight camps. Together we serve over 300,000 men, women and children — regardless of age, income or background. And we promote volunteer opportunities, such as allowing our employees to leave work and read to 6-year-olds with Y-Readers, lead arts and crafts at day camp, or teach kids about safety around water. Aside from mandatory trainings in safety and service as well as technical trainings, we offer leadership development and nationally recognized certification courses — and we provide the time away from work to take them. Our goal is to develop our team members and volunteers, and to promote talent from within our organization.
