Overnight Camp

Nestled on over 2,000 acres of land just 90 minutes from Charlotte, YMCA Camp Harrison gives kids ages 6-16 the chance to build lifelong memories in a beautiful mountain setting. Campers can expect to enjoy God’s creation, build relationships and challenge themselves as they learn new skills.

Mini-Camp
This 4-day, 3-night session is great for young children interested in trying resident camp. Campers sleep in cabins, make new friends, and enjoy traditional camp activities!

Junior Teen Camp
Rising 6th, 7th and 8th graders spend two weeks in the same cabin, allowing campers to form strong bonds with cabinmates and counselors. Weekends are dedicated to special adventures and activities only available to our two-week campers. 

Teen Camp
Geared to rising 9th, 10th and 11th graders, this two-week session lets teens form their own community at here at camp. An emphasis on leadership training, traditional camp activities, and spiritual growth makes this the ultimate Camp Harrison experience for teens.

LIT Program
Our 3-week LIT (Leaders-in-Training) program is for rising high school juniors seeking to build leadership skills. LITs participate in team building activities, go on a special excursion, hear from guest speakers, learn their strengths through written assessment, and set goals for the next phase of life.

Teen Extreme Week
Teen Extreme Week puts the focus on building faith in the face of mental and physical challenges. Off-site outdoor extreme activities* like whitewater rafting, rock climbing, and Brushy Mountain backpacking make this an unforgettable camp experience for rising 9th, 10th and 11th graders.
