Positioned in a once-transient area, the Steele Creek YMCA has worked hard to help turn strangers into neighbors by offering every person a safe place to belong. Winter Camp at the Y is a bundle of fun for kids between 5 and 12 years old. They’ll enjoy sports 🏀, swimming 🏊♀️, arts & crafts 🎨, field trips 🚌 , and more (check with your local branch for activity details).

What a spook-tacular Halloween at the Y! 🎃
First we celebrated at the Steele Creek Community Place Fall Festival with our bus decked out in a Candyland theme. Our Afterschool and Preschool participants created almost all of the lollipops and candy pieces! We are so proud of them for helping to make our display a success, the line at our Candyland bus was always full! Trunk-or-treaters started on the colored path by the front of the bus, then they stopped at our candy chutes from the bus windows, and followed the puzzle pieces path to the back of the bus for our photo shoot!
On Halloween, our Preschool Party was filled with laughter, costumes, and treats! We loved celebrating with all our little ghosts and goblins - suck a memorable week!
