Since 2005, the Lowe’s YMCA has been an integral part of the Mooresville community. Over 8,500 people each year are strengthened through family-friendly programs. Winter Camp at the Y: It’s the Coolest!
Y Kids
Engaging FREE drop-in childcare that lets members exercise & recharge. Y Kids gives adult members time to work out or relax. It’s a membership benefit for the whole family.
Winter Camp at the Y is a bundle of fun for kids between 5 and 12 years old. They’ll enjoy sports 🏀, swimming 🏊♀️, arts & crafts 🎨, field trips 🚌 , and more (check with your local branch for activity details).

First and foremost, our community is the best!
Your generosity over the past few weeks has been incredible. We have sent pallet after pallet to those in need of supplies throughout Buncombe, Mitchell, Yancy and so many other counties in WNC.
As we move forward, we are going to alter our donation schedule to make sure our volunteers can organize supplies and shipments to get them into the hands of those who need it most.
Donations will be accepted Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday from 9am-4pm, while Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday will be dedicated to packing and shipping.
Drop off locations are Josh's Farmers Market, Charlotte Ski Boats, any Sweet Dreams Furniture & Mattress location, and the Lowe's YMCA.
Thanks to local contacts, we're able to stay current on shifting priorities.
