Prepare to be mesmerized by this stunning Arabian Queen! Sarah has been dancing since she was 4 years old and has been with the Harris Y since 2nd grade. Her favorite part of Nutcracker weekend is spending the whole weekend backstage with her friends. After graduation, she plans to attend Elon University and study communications design. This Arabian Queen will transfix the audience with her majestic movement. Graduating senior, Ainsley has been dancing with the Y for 15 years! Her favorite Nutcracker memory is watching the Soldier Doll from the wings during her very first Nutcracker as a Gumdrop. “I thought dolls was the coolest thing ever!” Some fun facts: Ainsley is a vegetarian and knows American Sign Language! After graduation, Ainsley aspires to attend college to major in social work. You can see her this weekend at The Nutcracker! #harrisymca #thenutcracker @harrisymcadance

On the sixth day of holiday happenings, we're highlighting our Active Older Adults (AOA) who have celebrated with a holiday luncheon and white elephant party! #harrisymca
Our center will close early today (12.16) at 3:30 PM due to water main repairs. All other YMCA of Greater Charlotte locations, including Harris Express, remain open.
Basketball and Nutcracker practices will continue as scheduled. We’ll reopen tomorrow morning at our regular time. Thank you for your understanding!
